Lifeless Man Found at Brewers Beach on St. Thomas

Police found a man likely shot to death on John Brewers Beach midday Monday on St. Thomas.

Around 12:30 p.m., people started calling 911 about a Black man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds all over his body, including his head, police said.

Police identified the man as 41-year-old Rudy Bridges.

Little else was known about the territory’s 15th homicide of 2024, the 10th on St. Thomas.
