Fortuna Fire Station on St. Thomas Temporarily Closed

The Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services announces the temporary closure of the Fortuna (Tango Co.) Fire Station due to unforeseen circumstances, according to a press release issued Monday afternoon.

The closure is effective immediately, and normal operations are expected to resume midday on Tuesday, it said.

While the station is closed, nearby stations will be dispatched to any emergencies reported in the affected area, the press release stated.
