The Department of Public Works (DPW) informs the community of a road closure on North Meader Place Road in Bordeaux on St. Thomas. Recent heavy rainfall caused a landslide, which damaged the roadway. DPW Contractor, Grade-All Heavy Equipment, was mobilized to clear debris that barricaded homeowners.
DPW engineers are currently working on permanent plans to rehabilitate the infrastructure. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes.
The Department of Public Works will keep the community updated on the development of this project and appreciates residents’ patience as they work to improve road conditions throughout the territory.
