VITEMA St. Thomas Landlines Are Unavailable; All 911 Call Centers Are Operating as Usual.

The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) advises the public of the temporary unavailability of its landline telephones until further notice on St. Thomas.

This does not affect the 911 Call Centers. They are fully staffed and functioning

There are no changes anticipated regarding the functionality of any of the 911 call centers.

The St. Thomas office can be reached by calling St. Croix at 773-2244. VITEMA’s website and social media pages are also unaffected by this outage. Any local government or federal partners who need web EOC module may still do so as usual via VITEMA’s website at www.vitema.vi.gov

VITEMA and its coordinating partners are working diligently to address this issue as quickly as possible and will notify the public as soon as it has been resolved.
