Alice O. Paul, also known as “UU” or “Ma Paul.” Died on Thursday, Jan. 18. She was 88.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Arthur E. Paul.
She is survived by her daughters: Monica Octave, Catherine Octave-Isaac and Desmona Cole; sons: Timothy Octave, Julian Octave, Paul Octave (Urban Threadz), Sydney Cole and Daniel Cole; adopted daughter, Sylvia Paul; sister, Mary (Virgie) Jean; nephews: Blaize Alexander and Norbert Auguste; 12 grandchildren; special friends: Juliana Stanislas and Shirley Sokoo; as well as other friends too numerous to mention.
A family and friends viewing will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7, at Divine Funeral Services Chapel.
The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Frederiksted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
