On Saturday, Nov. 4, employees of Alpine Securities gathered for the 12th year to distribute hundreds of turkeys to first responders in the St. Thomas/St. John District. Alpine started this annual tradition in 2011 in an effort to thank all those who served the community throughout the year by providing complementary turkeys or hams to members of the V.I. Police Department, Fire Department and Emergency Medical Technicians.

“Our first responders work so hard throughout the year to keep us safe, so we are happy to offer them a small token of our appreciation,” said Charles Kim, managing member of Alpine. “We are pleased that we have been able to continue this tradition for this long despite the challenges in recent years,” he said. “We wish the Virgin Islands community a happy and healthy holiday season!”
