Acceptance of Green Waste Temporarily Suspended at Bovoni Landfill

The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises the community that the acceptance of “green waste” has been suspended at the Bovoni Landfill until further notice. The disposal of green waste is prohibited at the VIWMA bin sites. Green waste includes hedge trimmings, branches, tree trunks no larger than four feet, leaves, plants and grass clippings.
