The second suspect in the double homicide of Stacie Schjang and Arnold Jarvis Jr. was extradited from Georgia Saturday and arrested upon arrival to St. Croix, the V.I. Police Department reported.

32-year-old Anthony Scheinder was detained on a warrant in Atlanta, Georgia, where he signed an extradition waiver and was then airlifted back to St. Croix, where he was officially placed under arrest for the murder of Stacie Schjang and Arnold Jarvis Jr., who were killed on Jan. 27, 2022, and Feb. 4, 2022, according to the police report.

Scheinder was charged with murder in the first degree, unauthorized possession of firearm during a crime of violence, attempted murder, assault first, assault third, unauthorized possession of ammunition, and reckless endangerment in the first, the police report stated.

His bail was set at $1,000,000 as per the Superior Court. He was unable to post bond and was transported to the John Bell Adult Correctional Facility, where he will await his advice of rights hearing, which is scheduled for Monday at the Superior Court, police said.
