In the bronze medal match against Clement Jacquey of France, D’Amour came back from a 3-1 deficit to take the lead in the fourth end 5-3.  In the fifth and final end, Jacquey won, to tie it up 5-5.  In a one-arrow shoot-off, D’Amour lost by a centimeter, as Jacquey’s arrow was closer to the center. This is a great start to the World Cup season.

In the gold medal match between Marcus D’Almeida of Brazil and Mete Gazoz of Turkey,  Gazoz, the reigning Olympic gold medalist prevailed in a close five-set match 6-4 over D’Almeida of Brazil. D’Almeida is currently ranked number one in the World.
