Sandra Julia Lashley

Sandra Julia Lashley, also known as “Sandy” or “Sanz,” died on Feb. 1. She was 57 years old.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Esther V. Lashley; father, David R. Lashley; aunts: Carmen Headley-Jordan, Elma King, Ida Kellman, Gwendolyn Lynch and Muriel Prescod; uncles: Robert H. Headley, Jonathan Headley, Frank Kellman, Sonny Kellman, Lionel (Britton) Kellman, Ainsley Kellman and Frank Lashley; and cousin, Annette.

She is survived by her sister, Edeen M. Headley; brother, Lee A. Lashley; godparents: Joyce Encarnacuon, Jose Encarnacion and Eric Bough; and special friends: Miriam Griffith and family, Wilma Audian and family, Rachel King, Elizabeth Cage, Elizabeth Jean Petersen, Kristen Lee Sohacki, Maria Chiang, Helen Schjang, Rafael Phillip, Daryl Roebuck, Frank and Vanessa Kirch, Bennett Williams, St. Clair Williams, Twain Thompson and Cydmarie Ayala;

She is also survived by cousins: Trevor, Rodney, Cameron, Alex, Erskine and Kathy-Ann Headley and families, Deborah and Patrick Pennyfeather and family, David, James, Jefferson, Cheryl, Mary and Ronald of the Headley/Jordan family; Ambrose Headley and family, Charlie Kellman and family, Joyce Phillips and family, Richard, Adrian (Tyrone), and Charlie Headley and families; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 27, at James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A private cremation will follow.
