Waldron Francis Dies at 91

Relatives and friends are advised of the passing of Waldron “Pepsi” Francis of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Mr. “Pepsi” passed away on Oct. 1, at the age of 91.

Mr. Francis served in the army during the Korean Conflict and was discharged with honors.

Mr. “Pepsi” was a former employee of public works for many years as an auto mechanical engineer.

Pepsi is survived by his children: Elaine Francis, Lauralie Francis-Bedminster and Neil Francis. He is also survived by his brothers: Olonzo Hedrington, James Hedrington, Glenn Kwabena Davis, Ulrich “Brother Ferrari,” Larry Francis, Eddie Francis Sr., George Francis and his sister, Muriel Jackson.

He also leaves two grandchildren: Shea Bedminister and Jahneil Francis.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a viewing at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, at Lutheran Church of the Reformation. Interment will be cremation.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Centers of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix.
