St. Thomas Man Shot Outside Mafolie Road Home, Police Report

 

A man was shot about 10 p.m. Saturday near his residence on Mafolie Road on St. Thomas, the V.I. Police Department reported Tuesday.

Officers from the Richard Callwood Command were dispatched to the Schneider Regional Medical Center after the victim arrived at the Emergency Room in a private vehicle, according to the VIPD.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the man was fired upon by unknown suspects and sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body, the report stated. He remains at the hospital in stable condition, it said.

The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau and anyone with information is asked to contact CIB at 340-774-2211, ext. 5576/5572.
