Alberto Garcia Passes Away

The older children, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, and extended family of Alberto Garcia announce his transitioning to another life on August 18, 2022.

He is survived by his sons and daughters Gilberto Garcia, Jr., Noemi Garcia, Rocio Garcia Davis, Beatriz Navarro, Amelializ Garcia, and Ricardo Garcia; brothers Adriel Garcia, Samuel Garcia, Francisco Avila; sisters Miguelina Vasquez, Migal Colon, Sonia Garcia Ayala; grandchildren Wyclef and Tymai Garcia, Jeanine and Kahsam Taha, Kyle Babb, Betzaida and Mariano Martinez and Antonio Romero; son-in-law Antonio Davis; son-in-law to be Valentin Parrilla, Jr.; daughter-in-law Virginia Martinez; step-granddaughters Nataly N. Vazquez, Kamila Gonzalez; nephews and nieces Mariela, Marisol, and Solimar Garcia; Samuel Garcia Jr.; Ricardo Nelson Felix, Mariel Soto, Rochelle Felix, Dochelle Felix; Joel and Vanessa Colon; children of his sisters and brother Luz Delia Felix, Felix Navarro, and Dominga Vasquez that preceded him in death Julia Felix, Marisol Felix, Celinez Felix, Tamara Cruz, Luis Felix, Ricardo Felix, Juan Felix, Eddie Felix, Esteban Felix Jr.; Maria Martinez, Felix Navarro Jr., Gilberto Navarro, Griselda Navarro Rodriguez, Minerva Navarro, Felix Navarro Jr. II; Lissette Cruz, Coral Centeno; other nieces and nephews Sonia Yvette Ayala, Marangeli Ayala, Karla Ayala, Victor Ayala, Jermaine Ayala; sister-in-law Suzette Garcia; brother-in-law Esteban Felix; ex-brother-in-law Demetrio Felix; Godson Luis E. Martinez; ex-daughter-in-law Carmen Garcia, past grandson Ronnyisidro Vasquez; ex-spouse and mother of older children Juanita Jimenez; spouse Evelyn Cuencas.

Many more great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends too numerous to mention. A memorial service will be held on October 21, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 501 Sunny Acres, Christiansted, St. Croix, V.I. We ask attendees to wear pastel colors in addition to traditional black and white if desired. In lieu of wreaths, attendees can gift floral arrangements or gift donations to the animal shelter.
