The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) has sworn in its latest addition of peace officers and an auxiliary officer to take on the task of protecting and serving the USVI community.
The St. Croix District’s Commencement Exercise took place Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the DC Canegata Multi-Purpose Center where 17 peace officer recruits from the training class of 2022-2021 “Eagle Knights” were celebrated for their accomplishments.
On the following day on St. Thomas, the Elridge Wilburn Blake Sports and Fitness Center was filled with family and well-wishers for the 18 peace officers and an auxiliary officer of the Training Class 2022-2021 “Honey Badgers.”
