Almede E. Lettsome Connor Dies at 84

Almede E. Lettsome Connor

Almede E. Lettsome Connor died on July 1 at the age of 84.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Connor; brothers: Ralph Lettsome and Russell Lettsome.

Almede E Lettsome Connor is survived by her sons: Matthew H. Connor, Mitchell W. Connor, Maxwell A. Connor, Marvin M. Connor and Milton P. Connor; and grandchildren: Robert H. Butts, Mariah C. Connor, Danielle T. Connor, Malachi Y. Connor, Lawrence E. Connor, James M. Connor, Olivia Connor, Gabrielle Connor, Maxwell A. Connor Jr., Michael James Connor, Ayessac J. Connor and Aniah Connor.

She is also survived by brothers: Benjamin F. Lettsome, Quincy Lettsome and Jeffrey Lettsome; sisters-in-law: Kirlin Connor Lettsome and Sylvia Lettsome; and nieces: Naomi Lettsome Herbert, Carla Lettsome Fahie, Monica Anthony, Marilyn Malone, Paulette Lettsome, Patricia Lettsome, Tracy Lettsome, Stacy Lettsome, Nydia Lettsome Lewis and Karen Lettsome.

Other survivors include nephews: Ralph Lettsome, Kurt Lettsome and Sym Lettsome; cousins: Naomi Phillips, Marion Smith, Esme Stevens, Anita Hodge and Eurina Turnbull; and special friend, Mariel Smith. Special thanks to:  caretaker: Berecia Foster, The Medical staff at the Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Premier Homecare Agency.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a first viewing from 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 22, at Celestial Chapel of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals.

The second viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 23, at Wesley Methodist Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Centers of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
