Police Looking for Suspects in St. Croix Late Night Robbery

 

A St. Croix man was allegedly robbed and assaulted by two unknown men in Frederiksted on Monday, police say.

The victim reported the robbery and assault late Monday night at the Wilbur Francis Command Police Station, according to a V.I. Police Department report. The victim stated that while he was in the vicinity of Midre Cummings Park, two men approached him, physically assaulted him, and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money.

The alleged victim described the two suspects as Black, approximately 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and wearing black ski masks. The victim sustained no visible injuries, and no weapons were reported during the robbery, the report said.
