Crime Stoppers $25K Reward for a St. Croix Cold Case and a Recent St. Thomas Murder

On May 29, 2009, around 11:45 p.m., 41-year-old George “Thunder” Cintron Jr. of Estate Adventure, was reportedly walking with friends along the roadway between Estate Profit and the Bethlehem (Harvey) Housing Community, when he was approached and shot by an unknown person and died as a result. Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle speeding away from the scene. If you were one of those friends that was walking with Cintron on that fatal night, now is the time to say something. Crime Stoppers USVI is asking anyone with information on the vehicle, or the person or people responsible for this homicide to speak up! Help bring closure to this family.

On Wednesday January 19, 2022, 911 received a report of several shots fired at a bar in Contant, St. Thomas USVI, area of the old airport turnoff. Responding officers arrived in the area and discovered several victims who appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds. Investigation revealed that four individuals were victims of gunshots, three of the victims were transported to Schneider Regional Medical Center for medical attention.

The fourth victim was discovered in a residential area in the upper Contant vicinity. EMT’s arrived on the scene where the fourth victim was discovered and concluded that he did not have any vital signs. The deceased victim was identified as 41-year-old Henry Richards Jr.
