A man is in critical condition and a woman suffered a graze wound after a shooting Friday afternoon at Moe’s Service Station in Estate Glynn on St. Croix, the Virgin Islands Police Department reported.
The 911 Emergency Call Center received a report at 12:45 p.m. from a concerned citizen that a man had been shot in the head in the parking lot of the service station, according to a VIPD police report.
When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman inside a black SUV, both suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. The man had been shot in the head, while the woman was grazed by a bullet, the police report stated.
Both victims were transported to Juan F. Luis Hospital for treatment. Police said the man remains in critical condition, while the woman suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
The shooting remains under investigation, the report stated.
