Human Services Hosting Public Zoom Meetings on Personal Care Attendants In-Home Services

The Department of Human Services Medicaid Division is set to host two Virtual Zoom forum sessions this week and next announcing the launch of a program to help small businesses grow and new businesses get off the ground through a Personal Care Attendant In-home Services program.

PCA Business Launch Zoom Forum Dates:

 May 7th: 10:30 am – 12 pm

The need for in-home PCA services is great. Nearly 20% of our total USVI population is over 65 years old and require some level of assistance with daily activities. PCA’s assist clients with activities of daily living like personal grooming, light housekeeping, walking, positioning, meal prep, shopping, feeding, and more.

This program will benefit our senior citizens as well as the USVI business community, the disabled, and the VI community at large.
