Florida Man Charged with Rape on St Thomas

 

Hugh D. Fuller Jr., a 67-year-old resident of Boca Raton, Florida, was arrested by the V.I. Police Department at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday and charged with first-degree rape and unlawful sexual contact.

According to the police, an investigation into the matter revealed that Fuller, the owner of a vessel, sexually assaulted a female during a taxi ride. The assault was reported to the vessel’s captain, who subsequently called 911.

Fuller was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections, after failing to post $100,000 bail, pending his advice of rights hearing.
