The V.I. Police Department on Saturday arrested 22-year-old Justin Matthews of Lemon Strade, Charlotte Amalie, on a warrant charging him with stalking and disturbance of the peace.

According to the police report, at roughly 5:45 p.m. June 20 the victim reported that she has been continuously stalked and harassed by Matthews, apparently after he was involved in an incident with the victim’s boyfriend. The victim, whose name was not reported by police, said the harassment started in December 2019 and occurred as recently as June 10.

Bail for Matthews was set at $10,000, which he was unable to post. He was subsequently turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.
