STT Power Interruption Leaves 1,170 in Dark

An electrical service interruption occurred at 7:22 p.m. Sunday, cutting power to customers on St. Thomas Feeder 6B, according to a news release from the Water and Power Authority.

A crew from the WAPA line department was dispatched to determine the cause of the outage, make any necessary repairs and restore service to the affected customers.

Approximately 1,170 customers are affected, WAPA said.
