Adonis J. Francis Sr.

Adonis J. Francis Sr. died June 13.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Francis; child, Adonis Francis Jr.; stepchildren: Janice, Jessica and Justino Colon (Bupsie); step-grandchildren: Jeffery, Jeremy and Jalin Mercer, Jaiden and Jordan Colon, Saniyah and Jarin Colon, and Jessette Colon Carty; sisters: Pearl Sheckleford (Girlie), Ruth Woodley (Dee) and Maureen Woodley; brother, Charles Francis (Mac); and nieces: Clair Sheckleford, Lisa Sheckleford, Melody Simms-Morgan, Jade-Belle, Kira Murray, Melissa Spruce, Suzie Bailey, Ermel Gillard, Melanie Gillard, Marlene Parkinson, Annette Epenyoung, Amanda Libot and Pearlita Gillard.

He is also survived by nephews: Theo Streete, Otis Belle, David Spruce, Jordan Spruce, Daniel Francis, Lee Gillard and Len Gillard; sister-in-law, Melda Spruce; brother-in-law, Augustus McCalla Daniels; cousins: Reynall Richards and Madeline Roberts; special friends: his Crowley family, his MSI family, his Tropical family, especially Smithie, Denise and Sryia and the truckers, special food vans, Jackie’s Mobile, Joe’s Restaurant, Rosa’s Restaurant; lots of family in St. Eustatius; as well as many other family and friends too numerous to mention.

The first viewing will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, June 21, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by services at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
