As work continues on the Crown Bay Road Improvement Project, a temporary, partial-lane closure will be necessary, starting this weekend, according to a press release from the V.I. Department of Public Works (DPW).
On Saturday, Feb. 2, a nightly lane closure will be required until the completion of this portion of the project. The closure, which will occur from 7 p.m. on Saturday to 5 a.m. on Sunday, will be located along Nisky Center’s lower parking lot area.
The brief closing will allow ample space for the subcontractor to work safely and efficiently while continuing to demolish the existing curb and gutter. It will also protect the public from demo debris and any other loose particles that may potentially become airborne.
