SBA Opens Disaster Loan Outreach Center on St. Thomas

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today the opening of an SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) at the Nisky Shopping Center, Suite 720, 8000 Nisky Center, St. Thomas, on Tuesday, March 20.  SBA staff remains on St. Thomas to assist survivors impacted by hurricanes Irma and Maria. 

SBA representatives at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions, and assist in completing the SBA application.  The center will operate until further notice:

The center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays; it will be closed Saturdays and Sundays.

Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at www.DisasterLoan.sba.gov.

Additional details on the locations of Disaster Recovery Centers and the loan application process can be found by calling the SBA Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard of hearing) or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov

Loan applications can also be downloaded at www.sba.gov. Completed applications should be returned to the center or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.

The deadline to return economic injury applications for Hurricane Irma is June 7, and for Hurricane Maria is June 20.
