EPA Opens Grant Program for Environmental Education Projects

United States Environmental Protection Agency

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released the request for proposal (RFP) for the 2018 Environmental Education (EE) grant program. The purpose of the EE program in EPA Region 2 is to support locally-focused environmental education projects that increase public knowledge about environmental and conservation issues and provide the skills that participants in its funded projects need to make informed decisions and take responsible actions toward the environment.

Cost Sharing Requirement: Applicants must demonstrate how they will provide non-federal matching funds of at least 25 percent of the total cost of the project.
Proposals should plan for projects to start no earlier than Sept. 1.
