Wixon M. Luke Dies at 69 Wixon M. Luke of St. Thomas died Saturday, Jan. 28, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. He was 69 years old.
He is survived by his children: Paula Luke, Christine Luke, Maxine Taylor, Jenny Luke, Jennifer Luke and Lisa Luke; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters: Alexandria Anthony, Ann Theophille, Princess Simon, Rotella Esprit, Eleonora Luke, Virginia Alexander, Sandra Luke and Maria Luke; brother, Anthony Luke; ex-wife, Eulalie Coyly; close friends: Catherine Brooks, Rosalie Eugene, Suzanne Jean Marie, Robert and Lorna Bryant, and Mr. George; as well as many other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, at the Celestial Chapel of Hurley Funeral Home. The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 3. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
