The V.I. Police Department on Saturday arrested 21-year-old Jene Lima of Estate Bovoni and charged her with possession of a controlled substance to distribute, the police reported.
Officers executed a search warrant of Lima’s residence at 8 p.m. Saturday, where police said they discovered 32 marijuana plants approximately two to three feet tall in the backyard of the home.
Bail for Lima was set at $10,000 and she was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending her advice of rights hearing.
