Rosemarie Edwards of Willingboro, N.J., died on April 18. She was 74 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Exira Schuster and Edgar Phillips; brothers: Edgar “Digo” Phillips and Lawrence Phillips; sister, Lyra Phillips- Osborne; nephews: Brenaan Phillips, Lyndell and Listern Phillips; nieces: Denise Phillips-Stedman and Laverne Phillips.
She is survived by her children: Debra Edwards and Paul Edwards; grandchildren: Mallory, Harrison and Odin Edwards; brothers: Winston Phillips and Patrick Phillips; sisters: Florine Phillips-Osborne, Eleanor Phillips, Rita Phillips-Jackson, Lorraine Phillips-Nibbs and Margaret Henry; uncle, Henry Schuster; daughter-in-law, Aino Edwards; brothers-in-law: George Osborne, Valdemar Jackson, Lloyd Roberts and Carl Edwards; and sisters-in-law: Delores Phillips, Janet Brow, Winona Lester and Winifred Boynes.
She is also survived by nephews: Warren Jacobs, George Osborne Jr., Leroy Osborne, Raymond Osborne, Michael Osborne, Anthony Osborne, Leroy Pena, Brian Petersen, Ronald Schneider, Michael Phillips, Wesley Phillips, Lawrence Phillips, Lushane Phillips and Timothy Phillips; and nieces: Lenore Schrader, Corine Aska, Joann Osborne, Martha Osborne, Jacqueline Osborne, Lita Dennis-Reid, Rhonda Jackson, Raynell Jackson, Reva Jackson, Ronice Jackson, Reisa Jackson, Ralna Jackson, Tanya Phillips, Ludequa Phillips, Lutisha Phillips, Audrey Phillips, Andrea Phillips-Young, Lizzette Phillips-Parker, Yvonne Phillips Donna Phillips-Cisse, Iula Valerie Phillips-Lynch and Linda Phillips-Paul.
Other survivors include many great nieces and great nephews too numerous to mention; close cousins: Magdalene McAlpin, Charles McAlpin , Yvonne McAlpin, Elise McAlpin, Luetta McAlpin-Simmonds, Rosemarie Schuster, Joycelynn Schuster and Dwayne Howell; special friends and families: Joan Sealey, Ruth Pender, Shirley Williams, Sharon Williams, Edwina Williams, Elizabeth “Betty” Lynch, Doris Duncan, the McAlpin family, the Moorehead family, the Simmonds family, the Hunt family, the Schuster family, the Doute family, the James family, the Williams family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at Christiansted Cemetery.
