Three Robbed of Jewelry and Cash

Three men were held up by armed robbers in Vitraco Park Mall Tuesday, the V.I. Police reported. No one was injured and the two suspects fled the area on foot.

The robbery occurred at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. The three male victims told police they were painting signs in the area when two armed men approached them and demanded their wallets, cash and jewelry, which the victim handed over without resistance. The suspects then fled on foot in a southwestern direction.

Witnesses said one suspect was wearing a black T-shirt, short jeans and a stocking over his face. The second suspect was wearing a black and red hat which he pulled down over his face, a black T-shirt and short jeans pants.
