A fugitive wanted on probation violation charges from Florida was captured Thursday by the V.I. Police Department on St. Thomas.
Donna Griffin Farely, 54, was wanted in Broward County, Fla., for violating the terms of her probation 10 times. The probation violations stems from a 1998 conviction for possession of cocaine and diazepam, which is a tranquilizing drug.
According to police, officers arrested Farely at the Cyril King Airport about 6:15 p.m. Thursday. She was taken into custody and will be held pending her extradition to the state of Florida.
