Virgin Islands Carnival Committee Chooses Theme for 2014

Members and volunteers of the Virgin Islands Carnival Committee have selected the theme for Carnival 2014: “The Biggest Fete Ever Seen, Carnival 2014!” The winning submission, entered by Darilyn Bell, was chosen from among almost 60 entries sent.
The VICC’s Executive Director Caswil Callendar said, “The Virgin Islands Carnival Committee’s volunteers are already geared-up to produce another fantastic event next year. And the theme is more motivation to make the territory’s grandest celebration of our culture the best yet!”
For submitting the winning entry, Darilyn Bell will receive a Carnival 2014 Season pass to all events sponsored by the Carnival Committee, and the theme will be used for all Carnival activities. It will be posted with the winner’s name in the Carnival booklet.
For more information on Carnival 2014, contact the Carnival Committee’s office at 776-3112.
