Dorothea G. Marrero, also known as “Peaches,” died on Aug. 1, at her residence. She was 85 years old.
She is survived by her brothers: James “JP” Pierre and Harold Duhun; nephews: Terrance McElroy, Joseph "Joey" Wilson, Robert Duhun and James Duhun; nieces: Carol Voss and Patricia McElroy; nieces-in-law: Amy Wilson, Santhia McElroy; special friend, Yvonne A.G. Philip; close friends: Racquel Bough, Ida Galvin, Elsie Malone and Yolanda Penha; and other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 8:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
