Anne E. Tricarico (Conrade, Petz), 56, of Derry, N.H., died unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 19, in Sarasota, Fla. Born on Jan. 13, 1956, she was a resident of Derry since 1991 and had moved to Wharton, N.J., in 2009. Anne formerly lived in Arlington, Mass., Sarasota, Fla. and St. Thomas, V.I. She was predeceased by one son, Clifford Conrade Jr. in 2003, and her mother, Cleone Petz, in 2008.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Tricarico of Wharton, N.J.; her sons: Keith Conrade and Daniel Conrade, both of Derry; her daughter, Grace Conrade Horton and son-in-law, Chris Horton of Hampstead; her siblings: Maria Petz Burke, Bruce Petz and Brad Petz of Sarasota, Fla., and Chris Petz of Billerica Mass.; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Anne, known to her family as Annie, was the granddaughter of Grace Itah and Percival W. Sparks. She was a loving, caring and sensitive child and spent many years on St. Thomas where she attended Sts. Peter and Paul School before moving to Florida. She returned over and over again to St. Thomas to visit her family. She enjoyed traveling, especially to St. Thomas where she grew up. Annie had a large extended family on the mainland, including her aunts Ethel Lloyd and Grace I. Dutil and their children. On St. Thomas, she leaves to mourn her aunt Corinne Lockhart, her cousins Leah McAllister, Dale Garee, Catherine L. Mills, Ronald and Henrik Lockhart, as well as other members of the McAllister family, the Adams and Finch families.
Anne was a free-spirited woman who loved life, valued her family and took pride in her children. She enjoyed being outdoors, reading on the beach and had a special joy for helping people.
Funeral services will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 25, at the Peabody Funeral Home, 15 Birch Street, Derry, N.H. Following the viewing, a memorial service will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, N.H.
