Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve the following crimes. If you know something, say something, as law enforcement cannot control crime without the help of the community. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these cases.

St. Croix: On Thursday, September 29, 2011, at about 9:30 p.m., the lifeless body of 50-year-old Troy Weiss was found with multiple stab wounds lying at the entrance of a dirt trail in the roadway of North Shore Road to the west of Cane Bay beach. Mr. Weiss was last seen leaving Sprat Net between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m., walking west toward his home. Help police identify who is responsible for his death. The minimum reward for the arrest of a murder suspect is $1,500.

St. John: On Wednesday, January 25, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., the Villa Far Horizon in Cruz Bay was burglarized. The suspect(s) entered through the western window of the bathroom. Items stolen include a Toshiba computer, an iPod Shuffle, and various gold chains, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings, and pendants. The minimum reward for the arrest of a burglary suspect, it is $714 plus 10% of the value of any property recovered. Maximum reward is $2,500.

St. Thomas: On Tuesday, February 14, at about 8:55 a.m., detectives were called to the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital to investigate three males who had been shot. Each stated they were in the area of Lima Grocery parking lot in Bovoni when gunshots were fired in their direction. The minimum reward for the arrest of one of the shooters is $900.
