Sherry Emelia Matthew of Whim Estate died on Feb. 13 at her residence. She was 56 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Glentis Matthew; grandmother, Theresita Francis; daughter, Tiffany Lloyd; son, Stefon Matthew; son-in-law, Steve Lloyd; sisters: Maxine Vanterpool, Patricia and Kathleen Mason; brothers: Ivan, Clarence and Donald Manson; aunts: Marilyn Lynch, Dorreen Georges, Lorraine Gauthier and Eleanor Charles; uncle, Neville Georges; special friends: Patricia Sage, Lorna Concepcion and Veronica Phillips; cousins and other relatives: Renee Georges, Gregory Georges, Terry Lynch and Elle Nielsen; sisters-in-law: Yvonne Hansen, Eleanor Hansen, Eleanor Williams, Sheila Matthew and Marilyn Daley; brothers-in-law: Donald Matthew and Carlton Matthew; many nieces and nephews; as well as family and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, at the St. Croix Christian Church, Orange Grove. Interment will be at the Kingshill Cemetery.
The family requests that those in attendance wear festive colors.
