Burnett Smith Dies

Burnett Smith died on Nov. 22.
He is survived by his wife, Edris Smith; daughters: Darlene Daly, Donna I. Smith and Tanya Frierson; sons: Vernon, Burnett Jr. and Vincent Smith; brothers: David and Aubrey Smith; sisters: Audrey Leonard, Joyce Fahie and Gloria Scatliffe; daughter-in-law, Madessa Smith; sons-in-law: Carlylele Daly and Robert Frierson; sisters-in-law: Valerie Stephens, Glenella Celaire and Natalie Penn; brothers-in-law: Glaston Fahie, Wellinton Scatliffe, Raymond Penn, Gilbert Penn, Wesley Penn and Stedman Penn; grandsons: Verne George Jr., Albert Motta II, Thurston Daly, J’moi Smith, Jahkeel Smith, Devin Smith, Joshua Smith and Spenser Frierson; granddaughters: Bernqua Smith, Deisia Smith, Lyundin Smith, Alanna Frierson and Camryn Smith; great-granchildren: Leisha Casey and Braeden; as well as other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Jehovah Witness Church. Burial will be in the Eastern Cemetery.
