DHS Provides Public Review of State Plan

The Department of Human Services in accordance with federally mandated standards is providing public notice and extending an invitation to the community to review the biennial State Plan. This document is an essential guide for the operation of the Office of Child Care and Regulatory Services (OCCRS).
Starting on Friday, July 22 through Aug. 1, the State Plan will be available for review and comment on St. Thomas St. John and St. Croix at the following locations: 1) the Department of Human Services, Office of Child Care and Regulatory Services, 2) the public library, 3) the St. John Multi-Purpose Center, and 4) the University of the Virgin Islands Library.
Public Hearings are scheduled for Tuesday, July 26 at the Herbert Grigg Home for the Aged on St. Croix, and Wednesday, July 27 at the Sugar Estate Head Start Complex on St. Thomas. Both hearings will begin at 6 p.m.
