Lindy Annual Fun Day is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 10. All young people are invited to this fun-filled day at Lindbergh Bay in the vicinity of Best Western Emerald Beach Resort.
As last year, the first 75 youths to arrive will receive a Lindy Day T-shirt and a free lunch voucher through the compliments of Emerald Beach Resort. All activities for Lindy Annual Fun Day are free of charge.
Scheduled activities include snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, grape-leaf painting, tug-o-war, a treasure hunt, landscape painting lessons, demonstrations of dangers posed to sea turtles by representatives of Coral World and much more. Entertainment at regular intervals will be provided by youth from V.I. schools. Chaperons, volunteers and lifeguards will be on duty to cater to the safety of the children.
