Vida Luella Roberts of Catherine’s Rest died on May 24, at her residence. She was 69 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Shereen Grouby (Roberts) and Charlene Dixon (Roberts); son, Dale Roberts; grandchildren: Cylton, Kamisha, Alyssa and Lileth Grouby, and Jeneé Roberts; sons-in-law: Eric Dixon and Wreford Grouby; sisters: Christophine (Shirley) Cunningham, Joyce Maitland, Nelrine (Suzy) Henry and Tracey Cornelius; brothers: Gilford (Elpert) Cornelius, Maurice Cornelius, Bentley Cornelius and Harold (Max) Cornelius; brothers-in-law: Hugh Cunningham, Gabriel Maitland and Alvester Henry; sister-in-law, Janice Cornelius; special family friend, Louisa Saldaña; and other family and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Christiansted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
