Phillip Lockhart Defoe Dies at 75

Phillip Lockhart Defoe
Phillip Lockhart Defoe died on Sunday, May 8, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 75 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Defoe; children: Sonia Dennis, Rosemarie Felicien, Verdan Jagrup, Sephora Patrick, Daniel Defoe, Jonathan Defoe, Lilia Matthias and John Defoe; grandchildren: Hubert Williams, Delmah Williams, Robert Felicien, Rozana Felicien, Ryan Felicien, Gabriel Jagrup, Jeremy Jagrup, Stephanie Jagrup, Terence Jagrup, Sarah Jagrup, Keon and Ethan Patrick, Daniel Defoe Jr., Christiana Defoe, Joshua Defoe, Elizabeth Defoe, Khadiem Luke, Khadijah Defoe, Shamal Abraham, Keva Matthias, Kayla Defoe and Kenya Defoe; great-grandchildren: Brandon Williams, Madison Williams and Devin Sands; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
On Sunday, May 22, friends and family may visit with the family from 9-10 a.m., and a funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. at the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church (Grove Place). Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Church of God Roseau, P.O. Box 941 Roseau, Dominica.
