Jack Baggott Keil of Dongola, Illinois, died on Friday Nov. 5. A native of Elmhurst, Ill., he is survived by his beloved spouse of 50 years, Pat Fritz Keil.
Jack was a member of First Lutheran Church of Dongola and regularly attended LaVallee Lutheran Church on St. Croix, which he considered his second home.
An avid pilot for 35 years, Jack had his own airstrip on his land and enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle when not scuba diving. Known for his kind, loving and giving soul, Jack will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola. In lieu of flowers, any contributions should be kindly donated to the LaVallee Lutheran Church.
