FOSTPL Seeks Volunteers for Annual ‘Read on the Green’

As part of National Library Week, Friends of St. Thomas Public Libraries (FOSTPL) will join in the annual “Read on the Green” to be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, at the Herman E. Moore Golf Course, UVI, St. Thomas campus. Volunteers are needed to donate at least one hour to help with activities such as face painting, book redistribution, assisting with children during storytelling sessions, and encouraging new membership.

The theme is "Communities Thrive @ Your Library®" the week is an annual celebration that highlights the value of all public, school, academic and special libraries and their librarians. Today’s libraries are modern community centers where everyone is invited to explore, dream and learn.
