The Caribbean Writer will hold an Artist Talk at the University of the Virgin Islands Great Hall, St. Croix campus, from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30. The event, open to students, faculty, staff and the greater community, will feature Shayma Kamel from Egypt, a Nubian artist working in painting, drawing and collage; Lauren Baccas from Atlanta, a mixed media artist, who works under the name Peanut Jones; as well as local artists: Cynthia Hatfield, Elisa McKay and Sue Snow. Artists will show and discuss their works.
