Hector Luis Cuencas Sr. of Hannah’s Rest died on Nov. 7. He was 54 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Ines Nieves; father, Ramon Cuencas; son, Hector L. Cuencas Jr.; sisters: Lorraine Dowling, Graciela Sanabria, Lisandra G. Mitchell, Evelyn C. Garcia, Iris C. Rodriquez, Jacinta Cuencas, Minerva Cuencas, Shenell Cuencas, Grisell Cuencas and Carmen Cuencas; and brothers: Ramon Munchito Cuencas, Nelson Cuencas, Alfredo Cuencas, Larry Cuencas, Jason Cuencas, Antonio Cuencas, Carlos Cuencas, Samuel Sanabria and Lauriel E. Dowling. He is also survived by special niece, Tamara A. Ferrer; special great nephews: Omar and Amani; aunts: Migdalia Nieves, Ida N. Brown and Josefina N. Munoz; uncles: Enrique A. and Manuel Nieves; special friends: Myriam Gonzalez and family, Migdalia Ramos and family, Mr. and Mrs. Francisco Rodriquez, Mr. and Mrs. Norma S.Gonzales, Luis Ferrer, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Garcia, Rosa Navarro and Don Toño; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
