Antonio Ortiz Jr., also known as “Junie Mc,” of Calquohoun died on Sept. 26, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 42 years old. 
He is survived by his mother, Maria E. Mercado; father: Antonio Ortiz Sr.; stepmother, Noemi B. Ortiz; son, Luis Antonio Ortiz; sisters: Evelyn Herrera and Jeimie E. Ortiz; and brother, Anthony F. Ortiz. He is also survived by nieces: Evynette Torres, Angely Herrera and Nayelis Velazquez; nephews: Javier I. Torres and Nelson Velazquez Jr.; sister-in-law, Nereida Encarnacion; brother-in-law, Luis Herrera; stepdaughters: Lymarie Hernandez and Roselee Colon; stepson:,Julio Hernandez; aunts: Nereida Pereira, Mercedes, Amelia, Gladys and Rosa Gautier; uncle, Ismael Gautier; special friends: Jesus Rivera, Ricardo Felix, and Esteban Luz Felix and family; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 11:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 12:30 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Iglesia Virtud del Cielo in Calquohoun. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
