Former Sen. Lorraine L. Berry has been diagnosed with an undisclosed health condition and has had to undergo emergency treatment in Miami.
A statement from her family indicates that Berry remains "in good spirits," but asks that she be allowed to rest until her treatment is complete. Updates on Berry’s condition will be released in the future, the statement said.
