Marion Vincinte' Ford Henry Dead at 80

March 10, 2009 – Marion Vincinte' Ford Henry of Mars Hill died on March 3, at her residence. She was 80 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Angela Nelson, Annette, Audrey and Alicia Henry; grandchildren: Patricia and Elton Clendenen, Maria Henry, Juliandrea Toomer, Laurel, Bernell, George and Lemuel Smithen, Audrey Rayford, George and Jerry Nelson, Zenon, Zeno and Angelicia Santiago; adopted granddaughter: Adrianne Arnold; and great-grandchildren: Shakima, Shakimo and Shakim Gonzales, Athaliah, D'sean Sweeney, Jaydin Adams, Annette Edwards, Malachi Rayford, Rebeca Tattegrain and George Smithen Jr. She is also survived by brothers: O'Neal Jacobs and Merrill Ford; sisters-in-law: Milva Ford, Alice Henry, Golda Thomas and Yun Suk Balfour; brothers-in-law: Ivan Stanley McIntosh, Carl Thomas, Leander Henry and Benjamin Balfour; sons-in-law: Ejnar Clendenen and Jerry Nelson Sr.; special friends: Pearl Flax, Dorothy Lake and family and Delroy Sweeney; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Friday, March 20, at the Friedensberg Moravian Church. Interment will follow at the Frederiksted Cemetery. The family requests that all in attendance wear festive colors.
