Feb. 13, 2009 – The United Way of St. Croix is now accepting new applications from non-profit organizations for membership in the organization. They must file applications by May 29, and must meet the following requirements:
1) Be an incorporated, private non-profit organization with tax exempt status
2) Offer a strong human service program based on documented community need
3) Be non-discriminatory
4) Have an active volunteer leadership that reflects the makeup of the community
5) Agree to provide timely financial and program information to United Way
6) Have sound financial and program management
Organizations interested in becoming a new member agency may pick up an application at the United Way of St. Croix office, Orange Grove Shopping Center, Bay 14, Christiansted, St. Croix.
