Feb. 13, 2008 – Livy Unite Honoré, also known as "Mama," of Estate Strawberry died on Feb. 8, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 84 years old.
She is survived by her spouse, Claudius Honoré; daughters: Mardree, Mylte, Claudette, Gloria and Marva; sons: Kenny, James, Wintson and Leo; grandchildren: Samalia, Nashalia, Brian, Dwane, Nicole, Lisa, Carla, Michelle, Michael, Amina, Tony, Donna, Ashley, Rochelle and Nick; daughters-in-law: Marcia and Monica; and sons-in-law: Joseph and Pablo. She is also survived by special friends: the Lawrence family, Webb family, Jacob family, Sargeant family, Miller family, Grace family, McKnight family, Pemberton family and Maynard family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at St. John's Episcopal Church, Christiansted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
